Join us for a special full-day ceramic workshop where you’ll design and make your very own handmade house number or name plaque.
This workshop is designed as a relaxed and creative experience, guiding you through the full process of designing, forming, and finishing your plaque.
Morning – Design & Planning
We begin the day by exploring ideas for your plaque. You’ll sketch and plan your design, experiment with layouts, and practice how your numbers, lettering, and decorative elements will work together.
Lunch Break
We’ll pause for a light lunch together in the studio, giving everyone time to relax, chat, and share ideas about their projects.
Afternoon – Making Your Plaque
In the afternoon you’ll bring your design to life in clay. You’ll shape your plaque, add details, refine your design, and prepare it for drying and firing.
Your piece will stay in the studio to dry and be bisque fired.
Glazing Session (Two Weeks Later)
Around two weeks later, you’ll return for a 3-hour morning glazing session where you’ll paint and glaze your plaque, adding colour and finishing touches. After the final firing, your piece will be ready to hang proudly on your home.
